ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 12. Turkmenistan has launched a new factory producing ceramic decorative tiles and sanitary porcelain products, named Baherden, Trend reports.
The completion of construction and installation works was announced in early March during a Cabinet meeting of Turkmenistan. Vice Prime Minister Baymurat Annammammedov presented a report on the activities of the country's construction and industrial complex and proposed the new enterprise to the President of Turkmenistan.
The facility is engineered to yield an output of 3.3 million
square meters of ceramic tile substrates and 120,000 units of
sanitary ware artifacts on an annual basis.
The Baherden facility is poised to serve as a pivotal enhancement
to Turkmenistan's economic landscape. The initiation of this
project is poised to address the domestic demand for construction
resources, enhance the export capacity of the sector, and generate
supplementary employment opportunities for the local workforce.
