TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 9. Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 70,020 automobile internal combustion engines in the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistical Committee marks a significant increase of 6,828 units, or 10.8 percent, compared to the same period in 2024.
The country has seen consistent growth in engine production over recent years. In the first quarter of 2023, 44,195 units were produced, followed by 63,192 units in the same period of 2024. The upward trend highlights the ongoing expansion and modernization of Uzbekistan’s automotive manufacturing sector.
