An Azerbaijani teenager, arriving in Baku from the UK on July 29 and infected with 'swine flu', is recovering, Press Secretary of the Azerbaijani Health Ministry, Anar Gadirli said on Aug. 1.
"The state of the patient is satisfactory at the moment and he is undergoing a medical treatment and recovering. But it is difficult to speak about discharge of this patient," Gadirli said.
A 43-year old woman, arriving from Paris, applied to a medical unit with symptoms of 'swine flu'. She has already received the treatment been discharged. "The patient has recovered and there is no any danger at the moment," Gadirli said.
The ministry made statement to reveal two facts of swine flu in Azerbaijan on July 30. Woman arrived from Paris on July 27 applied to hospital on July 29. Results of analyses were positive to swine flu.
On July 29 termo-sensor installed in Baku airport revealed high temperature of Azerbaijani citizen arrived from the UK.
Monitoring for all people's state of health contacted with infected will be held during a week.
