The only reinsurance company in Azerbaijan AzRe is going to get international ratings, the chairman of the company Fuad Guliyev told journalists on Thursday.
"At the moment, we cover risks from abroad, but most of the business is provided by the local market. We plan to begin to work actively in the foreign markets after getting international ratings," Guliyev said.
According to him, for this purpose, the company is beginning negotiations with the rating agencies Standard & Poor's, A.M. Best and Moody's.
In 2012, the company's collections exceeded 30 million manats, this year the company expects the increase of premiums by 10-15 percent.
