The National Depository Center (NDC) CJSC of Azerbaijan registered 1,381 exchange transactions for the purchase and sale of securities in the amount of 334.38 million manats in 1H2018, which is almost 22 percent less than in January-June 2017, according to the statistical data published on the website of the NDC.
Some 194 over-the-counter transactions in the amount of almost 260.5 million manats were registered in January-June of this year (a reduction of 1.8 times over a year) according to the data of the National Depository.
Some 722 deals under additional emission in the amount of more than 6.5 billion manats were registered during six months of this year. The volume of such transactions has almost tripled in comparison with January-June 2017.
