In January-July of this year, payments of the top ten insurance companies of Azerbaijan made up 135.02 million manats (92.54 percent of the total volume of insurance payments).
The results of the activity of insurance companies for January-July of 2018 were announced by the Azerbaijan Financial Market Supervisory Authority.

PASHA Life Insurance Company takes the top spot, accounting for 29.46 percent of the refunds paid by all companies during the reporting period. During the seven months of 2018, this company paid out 42.98 million manats.
At the same time, PASHA Insurance with total payments of 29.76 million manats (about 20.4 percent of all payments) is in the second spot, followed by Ateshgah with payments of 11.64 million manats (7.97 percent).
In January-July of this year, insurance companies operating in Azerbaijan collected premiums of 459.85 million manats (an increase of 42.4 percent over the year), payments for the same period amounted to 145.9 million manats (a increase of 1.3 percent over the year).
The report does not take into account the results of the activities of the only reinsurance company AzRe.
In Azerbaijan there are 21 insurance companies.
