As many as 600 crypto miners have been discovered in Eshtehard district of Iran’s Alborz province, said the province’s police Chief Second Brigadier General Abbasali Mohammadian, Trend reports citing IRNA Sept. 14.
He said that the cost of the discovered miners is estimated at 42 billion rials (about $1 million).
He added that six people were detained in this regard.
Starting from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019), more than 10,000 illegal miners have been discovered in the province.
