Hungarian airline WizzAir will open its base at Georgian Kutaisi Airport next summer, said Andras Rado, the corporate communications manager of the WizzAir, Trend reports via Georgian media.
“Any decision from the Georgian government about the flights from and to Georgia has a good effect on our operation. We currently plan to open Kutaisi base for the next summer season and give more people the opportunity to fly to Europe,” Rado said adding that it’s unfortunate that the base could not be reopened for the winter season.
“We plan to increase the number of flights. However, it is not an easy task and we need more time,” WizzAir’s corporate communications manager said.
