The export of wheat flour from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to Turkmenistan increased by 15.6 percent from January through October 2020, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports, citing statistical data of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
In general, for 10 months of the year, more than 31,000 tons of wheat flour were exported to Turkmenistan from Kazakhstan and Russia for a total amount of more than $10.4 million. This is 35.6 percent more than the number of wheat flour exports for the same period last year.
At the same time, Kazakhstan's share in the above-mentioned amount of wheat flour exports is $8.6 million, while Russia's share is $1.8 million.
According to statistics, the export of grain flour to Turkmenistan from Russia amounted to more than 263 tons, totaling $87,861.
The export of processed cereals from Kazakhstan and Russia to Turkmenistan amounted to 7,117 tons, for a total amount of $2.1 million.
The share of Kazakhstan in the number of grain exports amounted to $1.2 million, Russia-$901,687.
From January through September of 2020, the export of wheat flour from the EAEU countries to Turkmenistan increased by 22.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
In general, 28,937 tons of wheat flour from Kazakhstan and Russia were exported to Turkmenistan for 9 months of the year for a total amount of more than $9.7 million. This is 44.9 percent more than the number of wheat flour exports for the same period last year.
