Iran’s CBI shares data on value of GDP in industrial, mining sectors

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. The value of the gross domestic product (GDP) in Iran’s industrial and mining sectors amounted to 3.46 quadrillion rials (about $82.5 billion), over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Trend reports via the statistics of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

According to the statistics, this is an increase of 1.1 percent, compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).

So, the figure stood at 3.42 quadrillion rials (about $81.6 billion) in the preceding Iranian year.

The value of Iran’s GDP in the industrial sector for last Iranian year amounted to 2.1 quadrillion rials (about $50.1 billion), which is an increase of 3.3 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year. Thus, this figure was 2.04 quadrillion rials (about $48.5 billion) in the preceding Iranian year.

“At the same time, the value of Iran’s GDP in the mining sector for last Iranian year amounted to about 155 trillion rials (about $3.68 billion), which is a decrease of 0.4 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year,” the statistics said.

In total, the value of Iran’s GDP (including crude oil) amounted to 14.6 quadrillion rials (about $347 billion) over the last Iranian year. This is an increase of 4.4 percent compared to the preceding Iranian year. So, the figure stood at 13.9 quadrillion rials (about $332 billion) in the preceding Iranian year.
