The Director of Supply & Distribution Dept. at National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Co. (NIOPDC) Mojtaba Delbari visited the project under construction - Shahid Sadughi Oil Storage Facility rail station and assessed the possibility of transportation of oil products by railroads.
Delbari also held a meeting with the Yazd Province railway authorities, Trend reports citing SHANA.
“Transportation of oil and gas through the railways reduces road traffic and costs, and provides an effective step to increase the loading of the products from the Bandar Abbas Port,” said Delbari.
Delbari, along with Yazd Railway Director General Mostafa Davoudi visited the different units of Shahid Sadughi Oil Storage Facility of Yazd Province, and the construction projects of tankers parking and quality control laboratory building.
