BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Azerbaijan's petroleum coke exports totaled 156,830 tons from January to August 2024, a decline from the 195,070 tons exported in the same period in 2023.
Data obtained by Trend from the country’s State Customs Committee reveals that the revenue from petroleum coke exports for January through August 2024 exceeded $13.2 million. This is a significant decrease from the $52.3 earned in the same months of 2023.
Typically, Azerbaijan exports between 200,000 and 280,000 tons of petroleum coke annually, depending on domestic consumption, which is prioritized.
