Azerbaijan and Russia to Sign Agreement on Post Communications

An agreement is planned to be signed with regard to the post communications within the forthcoming visit of the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov to Azerbaijan. The agreement includes the confirmation of the contract between the two countries on dispatch of the post money transfers by the physical persons living in Russia, Trend reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies. From the beginning of this year, the transfers by the physical persons in Azerbaijan are possible. Presently, the post transfers from Russia were implemented only by the juridical persons sending mainly social-importance transfers such as aliments, compensations, etc. From Azerbaijan, both juridical and physical persons may realize post money transfers to Russia. The visit of the Russian delegation is dated for the closing of the Russian Year in Azerbaijan scheduled for December 4-5. In addition, a business-forum is expected to be held, with the participation of the business people
of the two countries. It is not excluded to conduct the next meeting of the Azerbaijani-Russian Intergovernmental Commission.
