BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 2. Turkmenistan exports a large batch of diesel fuel to the UAE and Afghanistan, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
According to the information, businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 30,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan at a price of $838.75 per ton from February 20 through 22. The total amount of the transaction was $ 25.1 million.
At the same time, during the same period, businessmen from Azerbaijan purchased 132 tons of dyed terry products worth $ 726,000 on the exchange.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. The country pays great attention to the construction of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
