ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 6. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, and Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France Catherine Colonna held a meeting during which they signed a program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2026, Trend reports.
According to the official source, the parties also signed a Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the two states.
During the meeting, the Ministers welcomed the positive dynamics of bilateral relations due to both the strengthening of political exchanges and significant prospects for the development of bilateral relations, especially in the economic sphere with an emphasis on the environment, energy, and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the official delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, is on a visit to France.
Thus, within the framework of the visit, the Turkmen delegation took part in a business meeting of French companies that are members of the MEDEF-International association.
