TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 29. Uzbekistan will extend a bouquet of incentives to nurture farmers who cultivate their fields with care and precision, Trend reports.

The Uzbek president's office announced that as part of the Family Entrepreneurship program, farmers will have access to loans of up to 100 million soums ($7,781) under a simplified system, and phytosanitary certificates will be free for a year.

The e-Fitouz portal will monitor land use and production volumes. Also, to stimulate planting along fields and streets, the President of Uzbekistan proposed to plant 10 million grapevines.

Furthermore, the Farmers' Council will support agronomic activities in the first years and link mahallas (local communities) with export enterprises for product sales.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan launched the Uzex Agro platform to support farmers and dehkan farms (large private farms that belong to legal entities).

The platform enables the sale of agricultural products at market prices.
