BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 10. The value and weight of Iran’s non-oil exports to Tajikistan jumped 45 percent and 63 percent, respectively, during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20–June 20, 2024) compared to the same time last year (March 21–June 21, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.
According to statistics, Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan during 3 months amounted to 116,000 tons worth $69.9 million.
The information notes that during the same period last year, Iran's non-oil exports to Tajikistan amounted to 70,700 tons worth $48 million.
Additionally, the numbers show that Iran primarily shipped petrochemical products, metallurgical products, agricultural and food products, and so on, to Tajikistan during the mentioned timeframe.
Meanwhile, during the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024), Iran exported to Tajikistan about 325,000 tons of non-oil products worth $262 million. Compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), Iran's exports of non-oil products to Tajikistan increased by 53.9 percent in value and 38.7 percent in weight.
To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, Iran exported 38 million tons of non-oil products worth $13.5 billion during the first three months of the current Iranian year. Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 7.6 percent in value and 5.6 percent in weight compared to the same month of last year.
