BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 17. The value of sales at the Iranian Energy Exchange from August 10 through August 14 amounted to 45.6 trillion rials (about $112 million), Trend reports via IRENEX.
A total of 135,000 tons of petrochemicals and other products worth 35.6 trillion rials (about $87.5 million) were sold at the Energy Exchange during the mentioned period.
Furthermore, about 66,500 tons of products worth about 16.9 trillion rials (about $41.6 million) were sold at the domestic section of the Energy Exchange during the mentioned period.
During the reporting period from August 10 through August 14, about 68,700 tons of products worth about 18.7 trillion rials (about $45.9 million) were sold on the international section of the Energy Exchange.
The value of other markets of the exchange amounted to 10 trillion rials (about $24.5 million).
To note, the sale of hydrocarbon products on Iran's Energy Exchange is essential. Through the Energy Exchange, Iran is trying to fulfill the needs of local companies with hydrocarbon products as well as increase exports.
