Macedonians headed to the polls on Sunday for presidential and local elections, Xinhua reported.
Polling stations opened at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 19:00 p.m. local time. The first preliminary results are expected on Sunday night.
Almost 1.8 million eligible voters in the country will choose their fourth president from seven candidates since it separated from former Yugoslavia in 1991, as well as 84 mayors of major towns in the country.
