U.S. to host next conference of Uigurs in May

Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, Jan.26 / Trend , R. Mashadihasanli / A next conference of Uigurs across the world will be held in the United States in May, chairman of Uigurs society ITTIPAK in Kyrgyzstan Dilmurat Akbarov told Trend .

Chairman said the conference, first held in Munich, 2004, is presided and held at the initiative of U.S. emigrant Rabiya Radir who is also chairperson of the American-Uigur Association. Representatives from Kyrgyzstan are planned to include eight individuals.     

Akbarov said that the conference is expected to involve over 200 representatives from Germany, Canada, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Belgium and Holland. 

The discussion of problems of Uigurs, ensuring their security in the Middle Asia, their democratization and economical integration are on the agenda of the conference.
