The President of Kazakhstan, Nurzultan Nazarbayev came out with support to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the peaceable resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Nazarbayev made the statement in the 8th summit of the heads of Turkish Speaking countries, held on November 17 in Antalia, Trend reports citing ITAR-TASS.
The heads of state also noted the importance of the trade an economic cooperation with the Turkic speaking countries, including the spheres of cargo deliveries and transportation of energy resources. With this respect there is necessity for entrance of Kazakh oil to world markets via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan export oil pipeline. The demand of the world economy in oil rose. From this aspect the transportation of oil and gas from Kazakhstan and cooperation in this sphere is of paramount importance," Nazarbayev said.
The President said that Kazakhstan is ready for cooperation with the Turkic speaking countries of the region in the sphere of scientific research in the space.
"This year Kazakhstan launched the first satellite into the space. In 2008 we plan to launch the second satellite. Kazakhstan and other countries in the region can work together in this sphere,' Nazarbayev said.
