The Azerbaijani mine clearing agency will clear the Georgian territories of mines.
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has won a tender organized by NATO's Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) within a project implemented by NATO in Georgia in the sphere of unexploded ammunition, the Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Azerbaijani NATO representation, many foreign companies struggled to win the tender. Under a contract signed as a result of the tender, Azerbaijani specialists within six months will hold exercises with Georgian officers on defusing explosives at the ANAMA base in Goygol.
