Russia sees the potential in the further development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of transport, power engineering and Smart City digital projects, the Russian Ministry of Economy told Trend on Jan. 18.
According to the ministry, the Russian and Azerbaijani authorities are ready to render comprehensive support to the business community of the two countries.
“Moreover, there is the possibility of using the complex tools of the development institutions of Russian Export Center JSC and VEB.RF (Russian state development corporation) to render the financial and non-financial services,” the ministry said.
The ministry reminded that the representatives of the Russian companies made several business trips to Azerbaijan in 2021. Thus, the Azerbaijani side reviewed the capabilities, products and technical solutions of the Russian enterprises.
“The partners reviewed the projects and products of the transport, construction, machine-building, metallurgical and energy industries, as well as the Russian digital technologies,” the Ministry of Economy said.
