BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Russia's oil production in 2025 is anticipated to reach 10.48 mb/d,Trend reports.
This forecast has been revised downward by 0.15 mb/d from the previous month's projection.
According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), Russia's crude oil production is expected to stabilize at around 10.37 mb/d in the first quarter and 10.45 mb/d in the second quarter of 2025. Subsequently, it is anticipated to experience a slight increase to 10.55 mb/d in the third and fourth quarters of the same year.
In 2024, Russia's oil output is forecasted to be 10.42 mb/d, representing a marginal increase of 0.01 mb/d compared to the previous estimate. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2024, the country is projected to have produced approximately 10.68 mb/d. This is expected to decrease to 10.39 mb/d in the second quarter, followed by output levels around 10.27 mb/d and 10.37 mb/d for the third and fourth quarters of 2024, respectively.
The EIA estimates Russia's oil production in 2023 to have been 10.75 mb/d, indicating a decrease of 0.22 mb/d from the 10.97 mb/d recorded in 2022.
Furthermore, according to the EIA forecast, Eurasia's liquids production is expected to reach 13.39 mb/d in 2024, with an increase to 13.62 mb/d in 2025.
