BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) forecasts that Middle Eastern oil production will reach 3.24 million barrels per day (mb/d) by 2025, Trend reports.
This represents an increase of 0.08 mb/d from an estimated 3.16 mb/d in 2024.
Looking ahead, production is expected to rise gradually. The forecast predicts output will reach 3.16 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, increase to 3.2 mb/d in the second quarter, and further rise to 3.28 mb/d in the third quarter, peaking at 3.32 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Qatar, a major producer in the region, is projected to maintain a steady output of 1.91 mb/d throughout 2025, up from 1.86 mb/d in 2024.
Oman, the second-largest producer, is expected to see gradual growth, with output reaching 1.02 mb/d by the end of 2025, up from an estimated 1 mb/d in 2024.
