BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. From January through October 2024, Türkiye’s exports of electrical equipment to Azerbaijan declined by 9.2 percent compared to the same period last year, totaling $189.4 million, according to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, Trend reports.
However, in October alone, Türkiye’s electrical equipment exports to Azerbaijan surged by 31.1 percent year-on-year, reaching $22.6 million.
For the broader market, Türkiye’s global electrical equipment exports for January-October 2024 rose by 2.8 percent from the previous year, totaling $13.7 billion. In October, Türkiye exported electrical equipment valued at $1.5 billion, marking a 10.2 percent increase from October 2023.
Over the past 12 months (October 2023 - October 2024), Türkiye’s electrical equipment exports amounted to $16.6 billion.
