ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, January 24. The Control and Analytical Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has commenced its operations, Trend reports.
On January 20, 2025, two important events took place at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan: the launch of the Control and Analytical Center and the ceremony of handing over keys to vehicles donated to the customs authorities of the velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag on behalf of the esteemed President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.
Also, the opening of the center is another project implemented as part of the second phase of customs procedure digitization. This innovative automated system enables continuous monitoring, providing information from all checkpoints and allowing for qualitative analysis of all customs processes.
Thanks to the applications built into the system, it is now possible to generate analytical reports that, in turn, help make precise and effective decisions regarding cargo entering Turkmenistan.
The new digital system changes the overall operation of customs authorities, meaning that key decisions will be made automatically. The creation of such a control and analytical center is a unique practice for the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
Additionally, the entire system allows for the analysis and management of risks related to violations of customs legislation, monitoring the movement of vehicles, conducting international cargo transportation across the country using a geolocation system, and ensuring customs clearance of goods and vehicles 24/7.
