BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 8. Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports have seen a 14.7 percent increase from January through February 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, reaching a total value of $771.9 million.
Data obtained by Trend from the preliminary data from the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) indicates that the increase in non-oil exports reflects growth across several sectors. The export of food products alone rose by over 15.1 percent, totaling $224.7 million.
Exports of precious and semi-precious stones and metals surged by 3.4 times, reaching $46.7 million. Similarly, exports of ferrous metals and their products grew by 76.8 percent, totaling $9.1 million, while chemical industry products saw an increase of 33.4 percent, reaching $21.9 million. Other sectors, including sugar, fruits and vegetables, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and more, also experienced notable growth.
Agricultural products saw a rise of 12.3 percent, amounting to $170.5 million, while agro-industrial products increased by 17.6 percent, totaling $69.1 million. In total, the combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products grew by 13.8 percent, amounting to $239.6 million.
