Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 December / Trend corr. N.Ismayilova/ Garadagh Cement Joint-Stock Company denies reports of local media on suspension of the plan because of the world crisis, Garadagh Cement said on 2 December.
Garadagh Cement functions in an ordinary regime without failure and reports on suspension of the plan are absolutely groundless, the leadership of the enterprise said.
In 2008, cement production at the plan will reach 1.3mln tons, which will make up 35% of total amount of interior cement market.
At present new stove is being built at the plant and its capacity will make up 1.7mln tons of cement a year. Total amount of investment in stove construction and modernization of the plan will make up €300mln. This investment program will enable to continue delivery of qualitative cement to the Azerbaijani market and to meet figures of ecological standards.
