Stocks end higher in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil

Latin America's three major stock markets ended higher on Friday, Xinhua reported.

Mexico City's IPC stock index rose 3.45 percent to 22,582.17 points. A total of 410 million shares were traded with a value of about 618 million U.S. dollars.

At the Buenos Aires stock market, the Merval index closed at 1,259.23 points, up 0.06 percent. The trade volume was 13.5 million dollars.

In Sao Paulo, Latin America's biggest bourse, the leading Bovespa index closed at 46,771 points, up 2.12 percent. The trade volume was 1.920 billion dollars.
