The Tajik Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and German micro financial banks signed an agreement on allocation of loans, provided by the German government in Dushanbe on Friday, Avasta.tj reported.
The document was signed in accordance with agreements, reached during the negotiations of Tajikistan and Germany, which were held in Bonn in 2010.
The program is aimed at strengthening Tajikistan's micro financial sector by supporting small and medium micro financial institutions.
The program will also improve the population's access to financial resources.
The primary volume of allocated grant funds will amount to €4.5 million.
