Japanese automobile giant Toyota intends to assemble its cars in Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan Press Club reported.
"A press conference will be held in Astana on Feb.12, 2013 on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Kazakhstan and Toyota Motor Corporation, as well as on starting the project "Toyota: Made in Kazakhstan," the report says.
Details surrounding the future project will be announced at a press conference, which will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Aset Isekeshev and Didier Leroy, President and CEO of Toyota Motor Europe and Senior Managing Officer of Toyota Motor Corporation.
