Iran is planned to export $750 million worth of non-oil products from the Gilan Province (northern Iran) in the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Gilan Province Farhad Dalghpoush said, Trend reports citing the organization.
Dalghpoush noted that a total of 664 million worth of non-oil products were exported from Iran's Gilan Province over the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021),
The chairman added that despite the spread of coronavirus pandemic and other financial problems in the last Iranian year, the production and exporting has been implemented in the province. However, if these problems did not exist, Gilan Province's exports would be higher level.
“The value of Gilan Province’s exports amounted to more than $518 million in the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020),” he said.
