BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29. Iran’s non-oil exports through the Parvizkhan customs of the Kermanshah Province (western Iran), increased by 23 percent in value and 49 percent in volume, during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through July 22, 2023), compared to the same period in the last year, Director General of the Parvizkhan Customs Office, Ghasem Motallebi said, Trend reports.
According to him, a total of 859,000 tons of non-oil products worth $323 million were exported through the Parvizkhan customs in 4 months.
The director general added that fruits and vegetables, dairy products, ceramics, and construction materials, etc. were the main goods exported via the mentioned customs.
Motallebi also said that the mentioned non-oil products were mainly exported to Iraq.
“Meanwhile, Iran’s total non-oil trade turnover through Parvizkhan customs for the reporting period amounted to 1.74 million tons worth $1.44 billion. Trade turnover includes product export, import, and transit,” the official noted.
Overall, Iran exported 35.5 million tons of non-oil products worth $12.5 billion within the first three months of the current Iranian year.
This is a decrease of 8.84 percent in value and an increase of 24.4 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
