BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. Iran's non-oil exports to Russia increased by 23.8 percent in value and 64.4 percent in volume, during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports.
According to the report of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran exported 865,000 tons of non-oil products worth approximately $361 million to Russia in 5 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period last year, Iran's export of non-oil products to Russia stood at 526,000 tons worth $291 million.
Over 5 months, Iran mainly exported petrochemical products, agricultural products, glassware, industrial products, etc. to Russia.
In the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 23 through August 22, 2023), Iran exported 192,000 tons of non-oil products worth $63.2 million to Russia.
Overall, Iran exported 55.9 million tons of non-oil products worth $19.3 billion during the first 5 months of the current Iranian year.
This is an increase of 26.5 percent in value, while a decrease of 8.55 percent in volume compared to the same period last year.
