BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 30. Iran’s non-oil exports to Iraq via Parvizkhan customs in the Kermanshah Province increased by 18 percent in value and 34 percent in volume during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), compared to the same period last year, Director General of the Parvizkhan Customs Office Ghasem Motallebi said, Trend reports.
In total, $553 million worth of non-oil products, weighing 1.53 million tons, were exported to Iraq through the Parvizkhan customs for 7 months, Motallebi added.
The director general added that the main export items included fruits and vegetables, dairy products, metal products, rubber products, and construction materials.
The customs official also said that Iran’s total foreign trade turnover through Parvizkhan customs reached $3.07 billion and 3.64 million tons in the same period.
Meanwhile, Iran exported $6.49 billion worth of non-oil products, weighing 16.9 million tons, to Iraq through its land border customs in the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023). The customs of Kermanshah Province accounted for $2.67 billion and 6.77 million tons of these exports.
