As of 1 January 2006 the total money mass comprised 3,739,2 bn manats, the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) told Trend. During 2005 the amount of money mass changed in different ways. If in early 2005 money mass grew by 9.4%, in December it dropped by 2.7% as compared with previous months.
In the total money mass the ratio between cash and non-cash makes up 73.2% and 26.8%. The cash money increased by 14.6% as compared early 2005 and comprised 2,737bn manats, the non-cash money grew 15.9% and reached 1,192,8bn manats.
