In 2008 the investments of the communications enterprises of Azerbaijan increased 2.5 times to 140 million manat compared with 2003, government's report on results of 2008 says.
The total cost of provided communication services increased 28.2 percent to 925.7 million manat. Large part of incomes - 78.9 percent - fell on private sector.
In 2004-2008 the total amount of the rendered communication services reached 3 billion manat, and average yearly increase was 29 percent.
