The revenues of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan from communication and information services from January through November 2021 rose, Trend reports citing a report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee’s report, this figure exceeded 55.5 million manat ($32.6 million), up by 6.8 percent on annual basis.
Of the total revenues, over 41.8 million manat ($24.6 million) fell on mobile communication services, which is 1.4 percent more than in the first 11 months of 2020, the report said.
At the same time, mobile communications accounted for 75.3 percent of the sector's total revenues, which is the growth of 2.92 million manat ($1.72 million), or 6.98 percent more than from January through November 2020.
Meanwhile, the GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic exceeded 2.6 billion manat ($1.5 billion), which is 1.4 percent more than in 11M2020. The GDP per capita increased by 2.6 percent year-on-year and amounted to 5,693 manat ($3,350).
