BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The volume of cargo transported through Iranian airports domestically increased by 40 percent, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, about 134,000 tons of cargo were transported domestically through Iranian airports in 6 months.
Meanwhile, in the same period of last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 95,000 tons.
