Kazakhstan to expand railway capacity for growing trade

Kazakhstan plans to boost the capacity of its interstate railway junctions by 40 percent, reaching 296 million tons, to better support export-import demands. Key upgrades include expanded routes to Russia, Uzbekistan, and China.
