ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 26. Turkmenhimiya State Corporation and South Korean company Hyundai Engineering & Construction discussed the modernization of Turkmenistan's chemical industry, Trend reports via Turkmenistan's International Information Center.
According to the information, the partnership of the parties was
discussed between Dovrangeldy Sapbayev, Chairman of the State
Company, and Ji Hwang, General Director of Hyundai E&C in
Turkmenistan, within the framework of the international conference
and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024" in
Ashgabat.
The sides discussed opportunities for joint work on the renovation
of existing facilities and the construction of new capacities for
the processing of natural resources. They focused on environmental
issues and the introduction of technologies that minimize the
impact on the environment.
Ji Hwang emphasized that Hyundai Engineering is ready for long-term cooperation and expressed confidence that joint projects will increase the efficiency of the chemical industry and strengthen relations between Turkmenistan and South Korea.
To note, the Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024 (OGT 2024) forum is an international platform that brings together leading national and international oil and gas companies, as well as industry experts and financial institutions. The main goal of the event is to strengthen the dialogue on sustainable development in the energy sector and attract investments in the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan. The forum will discuss the prospects of field development, modernization of processing facilities, as well as the introduction of advanced technologies and environmental aspects of hydrocarbon production.
