TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 30. The total number of enterprises operating in Uzbekistan with Turkish capital has reached 1,903 as of November 1.
The data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 136 enterprises compared to the same period of 2023.
Out of the total number of enterprises with Turkish capital, 534 are joint ventures, while 1,369 are fully foreign-owned enterprises.
Furthermore, a total of 317 new companies with Turkish participation were registered in Uzbekistan from January through October 2024. This indicator has become one of the highest in recent years, confirming the active work of Turkish investors in Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, there has been a steady increase in the number of companies with Turkish capital in Uzbekistan in recent years. In 2021, 321 new companies were established, followed by 288 in 2022 and 218 in 2023.
