TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, December 3. Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover with India totaled $770.6 million from January through October of this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's statistics agency indicates a 26.4 percent increase compared to the same period last year ($609.4 million in January–October 2023).
India became one of the top ten largest trading partners of Uzbekistan during the mentioned period.
Uzbekistan's exports to India amounted to $91.6 million, which is 10.8 percent less compared to last year's ($101.5 million in January–October 2023).
However, Uzbekistan's imports from India reached $679 million from January through October 2024. This figure increased by 33.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($507.9 million in January–October 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $54.3 billion from January through October 2024. This indicator increased by 6.7 percent year-on-year ($50.9 billion in January-October 2023).
