BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8. Iranian forces engaged in a firefight with forces attempting to attack a pier on Qeshm Island near the port of Bandar Abbas, Trend reports.
According to the information, the target of the attack was the commercial part of the Bahman pier on Qeshm Island.
Earlier, there were reports of explosions heard by residents of Bandar Abbas in different areas of the city.
