(geekzone.co.nz) - Mobile devices distributor i-mate is introducing its latest Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC Phone Edition, the i-mate JAQ3, which the company says is a dedicated messaging phone, reports Trend.
Boasting a full QWERTY keyboard, five navigation buttons and scroll wheel, the company says the design allows for easy navigation and use of services including e-mail and browsing on its landscape screen measuring 2.4".
As the other i-mate devices in the company's portfolio, the i-mate JAQ3 runs on Window Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC OS, including Windows Mobile Direct Push Email when connected to a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 or newer, Hotmail and MSN Messenger access, Microsoft Office Mobile, Windows Media Player Mobile and Internet Explorer Mobile.
The phone also provides users with Club i-mate value added services and customer support and a built-in 2.0 megapixels camera.
The i-mate JAQ3 is a GSM/GPRS/EDGE quad-band mobile device, with 64MB RAM and 128 MB ROM. It also comes with built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) for wireless LAN access.
