TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.4
Trend:
The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is interested in increasing ties with Iran and prepared a cooperation package, said the head of Iran-Japan Joint Committee on Commerce, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Japan is seeking to have B2B sessions with Iran and connect with mining and industrial units. The negotiations are underway for communication," Bahram Shakouri noted.
JETRO cooperation document is to establish trade ties in the private sector and does not relate to Iran's blocked assets, he indicated.
"Iran's non-oil export to Japan is $38 million. Two countries can increase trade to $10 billion especially in mining, tourism, water, and environment sectors."
