TEHRAN, Iran, Oct 14. Iran's Ministry of Agriculture seeks to develop export of agricultural products including fruit, fish products and nuts, said Minister of Agriculture Javad Sadatinejad, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
"Good efforts have been made for sanitation control of agricultural products in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2021)," he said, adding that issues about contamination of products that have previously affected the export, have been resolved.
He pointed out that export regulations have been reformed, bureaucracy and paperwork for export of agricultural products have been reduced, and international health agreements were signed to secure export.
According to the minister, Iranian government has negotiated with more than 20 countries for export of agricultural products and resuming export of apple, kiwi, bell pepper, chicken and fish feed during the past year.
