Georgia, Tbilisi, Jan. 16/ Trend N. Kirtzkhalia/ Secretary of Georgia's Security Council Eka Tkeshelashvili paid an official visit to Great Britain. She held meetings with high-ranking officials in London, she told media.
Tkeshelashvili met with Minister for Europe Caroline Flint, advisor of Minister for Security Robert Harris, as well as representatives of the Defence Ministry.
Secretary of Security Council got familiarized with work of Great Britain's government during significant crisis, inter-departmental coordination and method of making decisions. "The experience which this country has is very important for us. This is very important aid which we expect from a partner country from the point of institutional development," Tkeshelashvili said.
She also met with representatives of the Foreign Ministry of Great Britain. She held important consultations regarding prospects of close relations between Georgia and the EU.
