An earthquake with magnitude of 5. 7 rocked eastern parts of Indonesia on Tuesday, with no report of damage or casualties, meteorology agency said.
The quake strcuk at 10:20 Jakarta time (0320GMT) with epicenter at 157 km northeast of melongsuane town of North Sulawesi and at 107 km under sea bed, an official of the agency said. Indonesia sits on a vulnerable quake hit zone so called the " Pacific Ring of Fire," where two continental plates meet that cause frequent seismic and volcanic movement, reported Xinhua.
